Job Description:
Year Up is seeking enthusiastic candidates for our Sales
Fundamentals Job Training Opportunity, designed to bridge the
opportunity gap for young adults. This role within our Education,
Training & E-Learning department offers an intensive one-year
program that blends academic learning with hands-on experience in
the sales industry. Participants will gain not only theoretical
knowledge but also practical skills through internships and
mentorship, preparing them for a successful career in sales. The
program is tailor-made for individuals eager to develop their
professional abilities and make impactful strides in their careers.
Participate actively in all training sessions, workshops, and
seminars. Work collaboratively with peers and mentors to enhance
learning and development in sales techniques. Engage in hands-on
tasks and projects during internships to apply learned sales
principles. Complete all academic assignments and projects timely
and effectively. Receive and utilize feedback from instructors and
internship supervisors to improve skills. Basic understanding of
sales principles and customer service. Strong communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to
changing environments. Problem-solving skills and ability to think
critically. Completion certificate from the Year Up Sales
Fundamentals Training Program. Optional: Any introductory sales or
customer service certifications.
