This part-time afternoon position focuses on emotional support, encouragement, and ensuring safety while promoting independence and confidence. Key Responsibilities Provide emotional and physical support during recovery. Encourage healthy routines — including eating, hydration, and self-care. Offer calm presence and reassurance without pressure or intrusion. Maintain safety and supervision during key activities such as showering or mobility transitions. Help restore a sense of normalcy, confidence, and independence. Keep family informed of meaningful changes or observations that support ongoing care and well-being. Job Requirements Strong communication skills (verbal & written) Physically able to lift 25 lbs., bend, kneel, and walk throughout the shift At least 18 years of age Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and registration Access to a mobile phone for scheduling and communication Reliable, punctual, and professional Must pass a background check Current TB test (can be completed after interview) We comply with ADA guidelines and provide reasonable accommodations where possible. Essential physical duties must still be met to ensure client safety.
