OverviewThe Encompass Administrator position is an opportunity
that will leverage your in-depth knowledge of mortgage workflows
and skillsets in project management, business analysis,
development, and testing for the advanced configuration and
customization of Ellie Mae Encompass (LOS) and its related
interfaces. This growing team works closely with the with the
Bank's lending divisions to design and build solutions to improve
business processes, increase efficiency, and maintain compliance.
In addition, this position will contribute subject matter expertise
and vision for the continuous improvement of the overall Mortgage
technology systems roadmap. Job Type: Full-time Location: On-site
in our East Lansing, MI officeResponsibilities
- Conduct systems analysis to understand the business impact of
proposed system changes, develop applicable coding, build test
script documents, administer test environment, release changes, and
assist in reviewing system interfaces
- Recommend procedure modifications or improvements
- Write or modify application programs according to standards
utilizing modern programming languages/technologies and applies
industry standard software development best practices.
- Assist training team with maintaining updated training modules
and train business units on new features
- Participate in various Encompass projects
- Participate on various Mortgage Lending purchasing duties,
including software licensing costing, renewal and maintenance
- Work within Encompass integrations including LoanNex Pricing,
TPO Connect, LO Connect, Consumer Connect, Velocify, DataConnect
and other Ellie Mae Network services
- Manage user tickets related to user issues for assigned
persona/system and provide interdepartmental support by responding
to inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and determining
solutions
- Track, route, and redirect tickets to the correct resources,
including properly escalating queries to Tier II or IT Help desk as
necessary
- Walk internal customers through problem solving process,
provide feedback and see problems through to
resolutionQualifications
- 3+ years' experience using or supporting Encompass loan
origination system preferred
- 3 years' experience building basic knowledge with mortgage loan
process, current mortgage lending laws and regulations, mortgage
loan documentation loans requirements, and mortgage loan
terminology
- Capacity to build custom input forms using advance coding
- Working knowledge of ticketing systems and remoting tools
- Proven working experience providing first level support for
employees
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Advanced troubleshooting and Multi-tasking
- Willingness to learn new technologies and preserve and grow
your knowledge of Ellie Mae Encompass products and services and
helpdesk procedures
- 3 years' experience working with Windows and hosted solutions
