overall life experiences. The Servicing Compliance Officer is an
important part of First National Bank of America's loan servicing
leadership team. This position provides careful analysis, advice,
and counsel to Servicing Leadership to ensure compliance with all
applicable federal and state laws and regulations as well as
company policies and procedures while simultaneously balancing
these compliance requirements with the financial and strategic
objectives of our Bank. Responsibilities The duties of the position
include:
- Understand and explain all applicable laws, rules, and
regulations, especially those related to mortgage servicing, loan
collection, default management, and servicing transfers
- Monitor and stay up to date on new and changing mortgage
regulations
- Analyze current practices and processes for compliance
- Integrate all new and changed rules and regulations into the
current servicing platform
- Develop and implement effective, dynamic compliance strategies
that simultaneously allow for the achievement of the company's
objectives
- Lead internal, self-assessment compliance reviews of
Servicing
- Recommend changes to policies and procedures as necessary to
senior management
- Review vendor relationships and contracts for compliance
- Review and respond promptly to any customer complaints related
to servicing issues and analyze and track these complaints
- Develop responses to regulator inquiries in relevant areas
- Act as a liaison between Auditors, Regulators, the Bank's
Compliance Officer, and Loan Servicing Management
- Assist Servicing leadership in maintaining and developing
complete and up-to-date policies and procedures Qualifications
Demonstration of these qualities, skills, and experiences will

- Legal education and/or substantial experience in mortgage
servicing or lending compliance
- Ability to build and sustain positive and effective
