Are you passionate about open-source technologies, container orchestration, and enterprise-scale application deployment? We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Red Hat OpenShift, Apache Kafka, and Linux-based environments to support and enhance mission-critical infrastructure systems at the state level.


Key Responsibilities:
As a Solutions Architect, you will:
--- Collaborate with subject matter experts to allocate containers and deploy applications efficiently.
--- Install, configure, and troubleshoot applications within containerized environments (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
--- Manage and improve data sharing tools and analyze current API-based integrations.
--- Coordinate with external vendors for software installations and support.
--- Apply security patches and ensure software remains compliant with state standards.
--- Leverage existing IT resources and consult with Enterprise Architects on best implementation practices.
--- Troubleshoot network issues, including DNS, firewall settings, and SSL certificates.
--- Support Linux-based application deployment, user provisioning, and software operations.
--- Develop technical documentation including EASAs, SSPs, and installation plans.
--- Provide recommendations for improving tools, platforms, and operational efficiency.
--- Assist with scripting, automation, and maintenance tasks using shell scripting and crontab (preferred).

Qualification:
--- 3+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes, including containerized application deployment.
--- 3+ years of experience installing and supporting Apache Kafka.
--- 4+ years of hands-on experience with open-source SQL databases (e.g., Presto DB, PostgreSQL), including configuration, connection troubleshooting, backups, and writing queries.
--- 2+ years of experience working with web applications, consuming APIs, and scripting for data validation.
--- Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux environments, networks, and containerized systems.

Nice to have:
--- Experience with shell scripting and crontab automation tasks.
