Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Battle Creek, Michigan,

Must-Have: Must be willing to work with a variety of staff. Must
have 2 years of Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Description:
This position requires a Registered Nurse for a medical surgical
oncology unit. The unit provides care for a wide variety of patient
types, focusing on general medical diagnoses. Specialties include
gastrointestinal, urological, and gynecological surgeries. The RN
will float to different medical surgical units as needed.
Flexibility is necessary for floating approximately once per week.
The nursing staff works with other healthcare professionals,
including RNs, LPNs, and techs. Registered Nurses will be expected
to work every other weekend. Patient ratios may range from 1:5-6
for evenings, with possible flexing to 8 patients with LPN support.
Expected patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. Daily
census is projected to be around 26 patients. Interdisciplinary
support systems will include IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, and social services. The unit sees a mix of
medical patients along with surgical patients for various
procedures. There will be professional collaboration with various
