This opportunity is perfect for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) skilled in school-based therapy, seeking a contract position in Sterling Heights, MI. The role involves delivering occupational therapy services across multiple educational campuses, supporting a diverse caseload of students with specialized needs. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 33 students. Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust therapy goals as needed. Support students at Cesar Chavez High School, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary campuses, with potential to expand hours by covering additional campuses. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license. Experience in school-based occupational therapy. Ability to manage a caseload and effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff. Strong organizational and documentation skills. Flexibility to work approximately 2-3 days per week (~16 hours), with availability to increase hours if desired.
