Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Perform radiologic procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist to support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires expertise in selecting appropriate imaging techniques, ensuring patient safety, and delivering accurate diagnostic images while adhering to established protocols. Responsibilities: - Explain examination procedures and prepare patients for imaging studies. - Review patient clinical data and medical history to perform appropriate radiologic exams. - Set up procedure rooms and maintain supplies including linens and sterile equipment. - Operate imaging equipment manually to capture detailed diagnostic images. - Administer intravenous contrast media when necessary and monitor patients for adverse reactions. - Apply radiation safety practices, including shielding and dose reduction techniques. - Follow infection control protocols to ensure patient safety and comfort. - Document all procedures accurately in patient records, RIS, and PACS systems. - Assist with training new hires and students as needed. - Collaborate with Radiologists to confirm clinical protocols before procedures. - Foster a positive work environment through open communication and respect for diversity. Desired Experience & Qualifications: - Radiologic Technologist certification and relevant licensure. - Proven experience in performing a range of radiology exams. - Knowledge of radiation safety and patient care standards. - Proficiency with PACS and Radiology Information Systems (RIS). - Ability to educate and mentor colleagues. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
