CT Tech Location: Taylor, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,202 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Healthcare Specialty: Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1 year of relevant experience License: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology Certifications: CRT-ARRT, Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program. - CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required upon hire. - CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) preferred - ARDMS required. - CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. Description: Under general supervision, performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Demonstrates good clinical skills to provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection. Follows the philosophy of patient and family-centered care at all times. Verifies patient identification and physician order. Provides procedural information and education to the patient or family prior to each exam. Acquires an accurate patient history and documents in the medical record. Performs CT and related patient care procedures using age-appropriate methods for the patient's physical ability and/or limitations. Places IVs as required for the injection of contrast media. Proficiently operates CT imaging equipment and performs necessary quality control and quality assurance testing. Monitors patients during procedures to ensure patient safety. Ensures urgent requests are relayed to the radiologist in a timely manner. Ensures equipment is cleaned between patients and the exam room is properly stocked with linens and supplies. Accurately and efficiently uses hospital computer systems for verifying orders, viewing schedules, and sending information to PACS. Uses effective inter-departmental communication and collaborates with medical staff, management, technical, and support staff. Physical Demands: Seldom lifts up to 10 lbs from pallet to waist. Occasionally lifts up to 35 lbs from waist to waist. Seldom lifts up to 10 lbs from waist to chest and above shoulder. Seldom carries over 5 lbs bilaterally and occasionally carries up to 25 lbs unilaterally. Occasionally pushes or pulls up to 35 lbs. Frequently stands and walks. Seldom requires forward bending while standing, trunk rotation while sitting, and squatting. Seldom drives, reaches above shoulder, or handles heavy objects.
