Dietitian - Full TimeHolland Home of Grand Rapids is seeking a full-time Dietitian to join our amazing team of health care professionals on our beautiful Raybrook Campus here at Holland Home in Grand Rapids! Our Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities are committed to delivering the highest quality care to the older adults we are honored to serve.Responsibilities:Reviews physicians' diagnoses and designs therapeutic nutritional care plans.Monitors and documents patient progress, consulting with physicians as needed.Educates staff, residents, and families on diet plans and performs dietary counseling.Ensures food service operations comply with nutritional plans.Integrates and implements nutritional needs and diet restrictions with other departments.Reviews and documents nutritional care plans to improve residents' eating functions.Revises and implements nutrition assessments and care plans with the interdisciplinary team.Processes new diet orders and updates diet cards.Completes dietary histories, care plans, and medical record charting promptly.Reviews and approves cycle menus with the management team.Recommends changes to enhance meal plans.Monitors safety, sanitation, and security in Dining Services.Location:Primary Location: 2121 Raybrook St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546Secondary Location: 2589 44th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512Schedule:Monday - FridayFull-timeDay shiftCompensation:SalaryStarting at: $55,931 ($26.89/hour)Wages increase with years of relevant experienceQualifications and Requirements:Bachelors or advanced degree in food and nutrition or dietetics from an accredited college or university program.Current registration with the American Dietetics Association.Two years of experience as a Dietitian is required.ServSafe certification.Experience in assessing and educating the geriatric and elderly population is preferred.Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for the elderly and their families.Benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO)Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Insurance Coverage with full-time hoursCafeteria Benefit CreditEmployer matched retirement saving planIf this opportunity calls to you, please apply online at www.hollandhome.org and click on the Careers tab at the top center of the page.
