A growing family medicine department in a wonderful Midwest location is seeking a board-certified family medicine physician to join its team. This role is 60% clinical, based in the outpatient-focused family health center, and 40% teaching and scholarly activity.

Internationally recognized for its provider health and medical education research, the department is committed to global health and collaborating with primary care researchers throughout the world. It currently has a robust mentoring and career development program as well as several NIH-funded faculty. The department is engaged in SAMHSA and HRSA-funded research including innovative ways to address substance use disorders.

Opportunity Highlights

• The ideal candidate is an academic clinician with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary healthcare team, integrate teaching and research into the practice, and provide high-quality care to all patients.
• The department is seeking an individual who will contribute to the overall academic mission, including the implementation of new technology in medicine, practice improvement and transformation, and geriatrics.
• The physician in this role will receive tremendous support from the university to conduct research in a variety of areas, including population health, health systems integration, and quality improvement.
