This position is remote based with minimal on-site requirements.
These requirements include but are not limited to twice annual
all-staff meetings.
As the UPL Strategic Contracts Manager you will report directly to
the Assoc. VP & CPO and provide guidance and support of all
UPL-managed procurement and supply chain systems through planning,
implementation and ongoing usage to ensure continuity of service,
and assess available systems and service options.
Examples of the variety of duties you may perform include but are
not limited to:
Provide guidance and support of all UPL-managed procurement and
supply chain systems including SCLogic, Quadient, Shopify, UPS Ship
Exec, and SAP Ariba, including tracking of contract end dates to
ensure continuity of service or assessment of new available
options.
Systems planning, implementation and ongoing support:
Builds consensus among team relative to project scope, task
execution, staffing and issue resolution
Provides clear and reliable communications regarding system access
and functionality to internal teams, project stakeholders, external
vendors, and customers
Supports application module configuration, technical, testing, and
search for resources
Participates in implementation workstreams through go live phase;
manage and resolve unforeseen defects and anticipated issues or
slippage
Manages overall system issues in implementation project timelines
ensuring against any cross-release potential conflicts, while
leveraging similar testing cycles, outages etc.
Manages project/enhancement/maintenance/production support
activities for the application teams
Coordinates with UPL Supply Chain Analytics department for system
reporting
Completes special projects and other duties as assigned
Unit Specific Education/Experience/Skills
Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by a
four-year college degree program in Supply Chain Management,
Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field; five to
eight years of related and progressively more responsible or
expansive work experience in supply chain functions; experience
with e-procurement system implementation and management, project
management, strategic contract development and management, contract
management tools, and spend analytic tools; or an equivalent
combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications
Project management experience with large ERP systems
Experience managing dotted line relationships with various
stakeholders for on-time task completion
Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, Amazon or Google systems administration
certifications
Desire 8 to 10 years of multi-stakeholder project completion
on-time, on-budget, on-quality
