Job Description Job Description We have an exciting opportunity
for an Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead and coordinate
electrical commissioning activities for large greenfield and
brownfield installations. This role involves directing a team of
commissioning professionals, ensuring projects meet technical
standards, and providing hands-on support as needed. What You'll Do
Lead and coordinate all electrical commissioning activities on
customer sites. Direct commissioning teams and subcontractors to
ensure quality and schedule adherence. Perform system integration,
start-up, testing, and electrical debugging as needed. Verify
correct electrical installation and mark up drawing changes.
Support equipment launch and troubleshoot issues involving PLCs,
drives, sensors, and controls hardware. Collaborate with project
management, engineering, and customer teams to resolve technical
issues. Document commissioning activities, collect performance
data, and generate required reports. Promote safety, compliance,
and customer satisfaction throughout all project phases. Customer &
Team Engagement Represent Dürr professionally, ensuring strong
customer satisfaction and repeat business. Collaborate with
engineers, operations, project management, and field teams.
Independently manage smaller commissioning projects or lead teams
on major installations. What You Bring Technical degree,
journeyman-level training, or equivalent military/union electrical
background. 5 years of experience in electrical commissioning,
controls, or equipment start-up. Strong foundation in electrical
and controls troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred). Ability to
read and interpret electrical schematics and AutoCAD drawings.
Proven leadership experience directing technicians or
subcontractors on-site. Excellent communication, organization, and
problem-solving skills. Ability to travel extensively and work
overtime, weekends, or holidays as required. Physical Demands:
While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required
to stand; walk; sit, kneel, crawl; and use hands and arms. Employee
must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by the job include close vision and distance
vision. Employee must be able to fly and drive. Employee must be
able to climb stairs and ladders, wearing appropriate fall
protection as needed. Incumbent is required to work with and near
equipment such as industrial fans, pumps, etc. in a manufacturing
setting. They must also be able to operate motorized equipment such
as a scissor lift or man lift. Dürr Systems USA has been present in
