Our client, Automotive Fastner Industry, is seeking a Cold Former/Header Set up Operator to join their team. As a Set-Up Operator. you will be part of the Manufacturing Departing. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience operating or setting up cold formers, cold headers, similar metal forming machinery. Job Title: Cold Former Set-Up Operator Location: Fraser, MI Pay Range: $25.00 to $30.00/HR What’s the Job? Set up and prepare cold forming/cold heading machines (e.g., National, Sacma, Waterbury, or other multi-blow/part formers) according to job specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, work orders, and setup sheets. Install and align tooling, punches, dies, and related machine components. Conduct first-piece inspections and perform in-process quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools Job Responsibility. What’s Needed? High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred) 2 years of experience operating or setting up cold formers, cold headers, or similar metal-forming machinery (preferred). Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of tooling, machine alignment, and metal forming processes Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods What’s in it for me?
