Job Description:
Lincoln Electric seeks a talented and driven Controls Project
Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is
ideal for someone passionate about designing, developing, and
implementing control systems for welding and cutting machinery. As
a leader in the industry, Lincoln Electric prides itself on

evolving needs of our customers worldwide. Design and develop
control systems for welding and cutting equipment. Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve
existing systems. Manage projects from conception through
deployment, including scheduling, budgeting, and client
communication. Ensure all engineering projects adhere to compliance
regulations and company standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues
related to control systems. Provide technical support and training
to end-users and staff. Prepare and review technical drawings,
specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to
ensure that installation and operations conform to standards.
Proficiency with PLC programming and HMI development. Strong
understanding of CAD software for designing electrical schematics.
Experience in motion control, robotics, and CNC machine design.
Familiarity with network configuration and industrial communication
protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc. Ability to perform complex
calculations and analyses to ensure design specifications meet
operational requirements. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision

preferred. Certifications in PLC programming from recognized
industry sources.
