Wharton Center for Performing Arts is seeking a Digital Marketing
Manager to join our Marketing Department. Wharton Center is
Michigan's largest performing arts venue with four unique stages.
We are proud to bring the best Broadway shows, the finest classical
musicians, unrivaled dance companies and an A-list of high profile
performers to mid-Michigan. The Digital Marketing Manager will be
responsible for the following duties:Developing and executing all
digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email,
social media, and display advertising campaigns for Wharton Center.
Composing, designing, building and maintaining our social media
presence. Measuring and reporting performance of all digital
marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Creating and executing digital campaigns which could include paid
search, display, retargeting, IP targeting, and paid social media
advertising. Developing and monitoring digital campaign budgets.
Developing and editing content for digital promotional materials.
Negotiating and placing advertising with a wide variety of media
advertising sources.Preparing and submitting ads on
schedule.Maintaining the website with current marketing content.
Collaborating with internal teams to create landing pages and
optimizing user experience.Writing marketing emails and developing
target audiences. Taking and producing photographs and video
footage to be used for marketing purposes.Evaluating emerging
technologies. Identifying trends and insights, and optimizing spend
and performance based on the insights.Brainstorming new and
creative growth strategies. Planning, executing, and measuring
experiments and conversion tests.Representing the Department and
University at meetings, civic functions, local and regional
business organizations, professional associations and related
groups. May provide first level supervision over regular and
student employees. Applicants should have the following
qualifications:3-5 years of related and progressively more
responsible or expansive work experience in Digital Marketing
experience. Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
Strong analytical, writing, verbal and visual communication skills
required.--Proficient in Facebook Business Manager, Twitter for
Business, Instagram for business, and other social media platforms;
Google Adwords campaigns, Adobe programs, video editing software,
and content management systems. Must be available to work nights
and weekends as needed.
