We underwrite and service all of the loans we originate in house which allows us to focus on our clients individually, customize our guidelines on a case-by-case basis and build lasting relationships with our clients. A successful Administrative Assistant possesses structure, attention to detail, quality focus, high energy and flexibility to a high-paced deadline driven organization. The individual in this role will need to work well in a team environment, be able to support the job activities of the Bank's senior executive officers with professional courtesy and acumen. This position will need to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to complete assignments in line with the department's activities and goals, including accounting related functions, preparation of operations/loan reports, typing, filing, and various other administrative duties, as noted below.Responsibilities

  • To ensure general ledger entries for prepaid accounts are recorded accurately
  • To prepare miscellaneous IRS and regulatory reports monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Bi-weekly calls & transactions for Fed withholding
  • To assemble and distribute the monthly Board of Directors meeting package via BoardEffects
  • To prepare the investment page for the board package, using Excel software
  • Bank's investment portfolio: Processes paperwork when securities are bought/sold
  • Processes interest payments received
  • Maintain files
  • Process CD interest payments
  • Maintains/updates policy manuals
  • Maintains safekeeping items in Bank's fireproof file
  • Researches and prepares new and closed account letters for management review & approval on a weekly basis
  • Responds to Garnishments and Levies, taking appropriate action
  • Monitors Business Reply Mail account daily
  • Copying, filing of documents, and mailings, as requiredQualifications
    • Experience with general ledgers
    • Experience in account payables
    • Organized and detailed, able to learn new processes with ease.
    • Tact and good judgment in confidential situations
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft OfficeEmployee benefits
